What is a brewing cooperative?
Foremost Brewing is a cooperative association organized under Chapter
308B of Minnesota Statutes. It is formed for the benefit of its members and
based on the values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality,
equity, and solidarity. Its members believe in the ethical values of honesty,
openness, social responsibility, ecological responsibility, and caring for
others.
Basically, we are a group of cool people who love beer, good food and
Owatonna. We want a cool place to hang out with other cool people and we
are all willing to work to make it happen.
Restaurant General Manager
Great hours. A desire to cook and manage kitchen operations is a must.
Bar experience is required.
Duties:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, customer
service, and staff management
- Ensure high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety are
maintained
- Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance and
profitability
- Train and supervise staff on proper food handling procedures, customer
service protocols, and restaurant policies
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food
production
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and
timely manner
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional strategies and
attract new customers
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost control measures
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management or a related
field
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food production, and customer
service best practices
- Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant management software
- Experience in catering or event management is a plus
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
